This policy explains how HALVAR LLC collects, uses, and shares information when you use halvarai.com, the HALVAR device, HALVAR Pro, HALVAR Mobile, and the Cloud Marketplace.
We keep this plain and specific to what HALVAR actually does.
1) What HALVAR is
HALVAR is a screenless, voice-driven access device with optional apps and an org dashboard. It is a wellness/access platform (not a medical device). Analytics are de-identified by default and configurable for organizations.
2) Information we collect
You provide:
Waitlist and account info (name, email, phone, organization, role).
Settings and preferences (language, tone, tool access).
Payment details (handled by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers).
Support messages and files you choose to send us.
Collected automatically:
Device and app diagnostics (version, crash logs, performance).
Interaction signals (e.g., session counts/duration, language access, toolkit types used, high-level keyword trends). These are de-identified by default.
Connectivity metadata (Wi-Fi/LTE status, not content). LTE use may be required for updates and features.
Voice & content processing:
Speech runs on-device; raw audio is not stored by default. To generate answers, HALVAR may send text (transcribed content and instructions) to cloud AI services; we contract with service providers and instruct them not to use data for unrelated purposes.
Organizations using multi-device management can enable or restrict additional logging through HALVAR Pro (e.g., de-identified summaries, feedback toggles).
Biometric sign-in:
HALVAR supports biometric sign-in (e.g., fingerprint; optional voice features). Templates are used to authenticate locally and are not shared by default. If a future Cloud feature requires sync, we will provide clear controls and disclosures before enabling it.
3) How we use information
Provide and improve HALVAR’s features and performance.
Configure experiences and safety settings (including topic steer-aways and language).
Offer de-identified insights to organizations (e.g., sessions/day, toolkit mix).
Process payments, fulfill orders, and provide customer support.
Communicate about product updates, security, and launches (you can unsubscribe from non-essential email).
Protect against misuse, fraud, and security risks; comply with law.
4) How we share information
We share data only as needed to run HALVAR:
Service providers (cloud infrastructure, analytics, payments, shipping, support).
Your organization (if your device is organization-managed, admins receive de-identified insights; they set configuration and guardrails).
Partners in the Cloud Marketplace when you activate an integration; their terms apply in addition to ours.
Legal to comply with law, prevent harm, or respond to lawful requests.
Business transfers as part of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale (with notice).
We do not sell personal data. We may use or share aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably identify you.
5) Cookies & analytics
Our sites may use cookies and similar technologies for essential functions and usage analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
6) Your choices & rights
Access, correction, deletion: email privacy@halvarai.com.
Marketing opt-out: use the unsubscribe link or contact us.
Org-managed devices: contact your organization for requests tied to their configuration.
Residents of certain regions (e.g., EEA, UK, California) may have additional rights; contact us to exercise them.
7) Children & students
HALVAR is intended for users 13+. For minors, use must be enabled by a parent/guardian or by an organization that has appropriate consent and policies in place.
8) Security & retention
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the data we handle. We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes in this policy, for running our services, and as required by law.
9) International transfers
If you access HALVAR from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the US or other countries where our providers operate. We take steps to protect data consistent with this policy.
10) Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as features evolve (for example, before shipments begin). We’ll post the new date at the top.
